All of our beautiful benches are handmade in the USA from the finest quality hardwoods—Birch and Western Alder. They come with a foam-batting cushion in beautiful cotton or raw silk fabrics—all in a variety of colors.

Our high quality Zabutons are hand-made and come with wool filling. The quality wool filling creates a light, resilient cushion. Our zabutons come with matching fabric covers so you can match the fabric and colors to your bench cushion.

Folding Meditation Benches

The Folding Bench is excellent for traveling or for compact storage. Its legs fold up and it slips easily into a backpack or suitcase. The hardwood construction and heavy duty hinges are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Standing Benches have legs which are fixed in the upright position. They come with an upholstered cushion and are great for use primarily in the home or where the bench can be left standing. The sturdy, hardwood construction provides years of service.

Quality Wool-Filled Zabutons

Our Zabutons are hand made using the same fabrics as our folding and standing benches. The wool filling creates a light resilient Quality hand made Zabutons in two fabrics and 9 colors meditation cushion.

Aside from adding loft, comfort and resilience to the cushion, meditating on wool has been recommended by saints and rishis through the ages. The quality wool batting gently insulates the meditator from subtle energies emanating from the earth, which tend to hold down consciousness.

Leg Height (Standard and Tall)

Available on ALL benches

Our standard size bench is 6.5" tall at the front and 8" tall at the back (for the angled legs) and about 5.75" tall (for the rounded legs).

The tall bench is 1" taller: 7.5" at the front and 9" at the back (angled legs) and 6.7" (rounded legs). Generally the tall bench is good for people over 5' 10" tall. It also is right for those who suffer from stiffness or pain in their knees or hips.

Leg Style(Angled and Rounded)

ONLY on FOLDING benches

Angled legs (left in the photo) generally provide greater support for your back to be maintained straight, while staying relaxed. However, some meditators, prefer
rounded legs (right in the photo), which allow you to lean forward or backwards to find an optimal position. (Rounded legs are available ONLY on Folding Benches.)
